I’ll be gigging with the Sorentinos for a few nights in Nevada this weekend. Thursday August 9 we’ll be at Davidson’s Distillery at 275 E Fourth St. I’m told it’s a biker bar complete with stripper pole! Friday and Saturday (Aug 10 & 11) we’re at the historic Red Dog Saloon 76 North C Street Virginia City for our annual summer getaway. Come on out and beat the heat!
This Saturday night I’ll be hitting the stage with the Sorentinos at the Last Day Saloon in Santa Rosa when we open for Sopwith Camel. The “Camel” was the first of the psychedelic San Francisco bands to score a national hit and were a major part of the Bay Area music scene of the 60’s. The Sorentinos start at 8:30pm, $15 at the door. Groovy!
I’ll be swingin’ with the Sorentinos this Saturday July 7 at the Lagunitas Brewing Company in Petaluma. Music is from 3 – 6pm. Our pal Steve Lee from England will be sitting in so it oughta be a blast! 1280 North McDowell Blvd, Petaluma CA 94954. 707-778-8776
The Sorentinos new album is out! It’s called Blues Century 21 and it features Danny’s wry insights on the modern world (and some funky lead guitar by yours truly) in a bunch of blues songs with that trademark rootsy Sorentinos vibe. Check it out here: http://www.thesorentinos.com
